Book: The Pigeon Needs a Bathe! by MO Willems

 

Activities: engage your child in a discussion about self care. What is self care? Why is it important? What are different ways we can care for ourselves?

Blowing their own nose

Washing their hands

Dressing and undressing

Brushing their own hair

Brushing their own teeth

Getting their drink themselves

Helping with food or snack preparation

Have your children draw a picture of them taking care of themselves. 

Have your child place a doll in the bathroom sink or the bathtub.. have them bathe the doll with soap as if they are bathing themselves. 

Wednesday & Thursday 

Book: A Line Can Be by Laura Ljungkvist

Activity: have your child draw a bunch of lines on a piece of paper.. after they have draw their lines ask them to take a look at it and using their imagination describes what their drawing can possibly be?
