- The babies are moving in lots of ways. How do you like to move your body?
- Can you wiggle the toes inside your shoes like the babies?

Making Faces: A First Book of Emotions by Abrams Appleseed
Supply your child with writing materials, paper, pens, pencils, markers, crayons, etc. Let your child experiment with making marks on paper to express ideas as they are ready.
Suggested questions during activity
• I see you are ________. • Tell me about your work.
• You are making (curvy, zigzag, straight, etc.) lines.
• I see other (curvy, zigzag, straight, etc.) in our home (indicate).

Tuesday:
Shadow Play: Hang a white sheet, place a light source behind it, and invite your child to stand behind the sheet and act out stories. They can retell familiar stories or create new stories of their own. Parents and children can take turns being the performers and the audience.
Open ended questions:
•I wonder what would happen if ____.
•What will you do next?
•What do you think about ____?
•How did you do ____?
•What does that remind you of?
